CreditCardChecklist helps you use the perks on cards you already have. We built it to need as little of your data as possible. Here's exactly what we collect and why.
What we never do
- No bank linking. We never connect to your bank or card accounts and never see your balances, transactions, or full card numbers.
- No passwords. Signing in is a one-time link sent to your email.
If you don't create an account
Your checklist lives entirely in your browser on your device. To understand which cards and perks are popular and improve the tool, we also record anonymous, aggregate usage: a random ID that isn't tied to you, the list of card types you've added, and how many perks you've marked — plus your IP address, used only to prevent abuse. This contains no name, email, or financial information, and we can't use it to identify you.
If you create an account
To save your checklist across devices and send reminders, we store your email address and your checklist — which cards you've added (and any nicknames, open dates, or last-4 digits you choose to enter) and which perks you've marked used or enrolled. We never store full card numbers or any bank data.
Screenshot & PDF import
If you import perks from a screenshot or PDF, the image is sent to a third-party AI vision service to read the perks, processed once, and not stored by us. We bound the size and rate of these requests.
Email reminders
If you save your checklist, we email you when credits are about to expire and before annual fees post. Turn reminders off anytime from your account menu.
Analytics & cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are visited, rough device and country, and high-level actions like adding a card or importing perks. It sets cookies and is governed by Google's privacy policy. We never send your email, card numbers, or any financial data to it. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on or a tracker blocker.
Service providers
We use Supabase (database & sign-in), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Replicate/OpenAI (screenshot reading), and Google Analytics (usage analytics). They process your data only to run the service.
Your data, your control
- Export / import. Download a copy of your checklist, or restore one, anytime from the footer below.
- Delete. Clear your browser data to remove a browser-only checklist. If you have an account, remove your cards or email us to delete your account and data.
